This is Day 6 of our 12 Days of Christmas Decorations series … check out all of the posts here.
I am a big fan of printable art work (and invitations). What could be better than a beautiful framed decor piece that you can print from the comfort of your own home for free? Nothing. Nothing could be better. Along with my love for printables, is my love for chalkboard everything. That’s why I made this Glory Christmas chalkboard art printable to share with you!!
The other day at Hobby Lobby, they were having a sale on picture frames. Since I knew I wanted a pretty new frame for my printable, I decided to take a look, and found this beauty for $7! The only problem was the color. I really wanted something more festive than black.
To spruce up the frame, I mixed some red craft paint with Martha Stewart’s tintable antique effect and followed the instructions for painting. It looks so much better now – definitely more Christmas-like!
