Father’s Day is coming up on us quickly! Sadly, I just realized that my husband is going to be gone for most of his special day. So my boys and I came up with something fun for him that came together easily. This Father’s Day gift idea is perfect for the dad who has everything. It’s a thoughtful gift that he’ll enjoy but won’t break the bank!
These days we tend to put more emphasis on experiences rather than gifts. I guess when you get to the age where you can buy things for yourself, presents aren’t as big of a deal! But … more for the kids than anything … we always love to give out some small token gift. But this Father’s Day has really thrown me for a loop. So I did what I do best – perused Target.
There are always so many great things in the One Spot that most often I have to skip it all together. But this trip, I’m so glad I didn’t! There was a little almost-hidden section for Father’s Day. That’s where I found this super cool wooden six pack holder (with a bottle opener attached). They also had several fun sock designs, lots of great blank cards, and this super cute tissue paper!
My husband has a thing for crazy “dress socks” now that he’s in the sales world. So I knew he would flip for these nuts and bolts, and beer designs. The only thing left was to stock his gift up with beer. My guy isn’t a huge beer drinker, but he does like some of the local artisan ales. So I found this Battle Ground Farmhouse Ale from Mantra Brewing for him to try (he’s a history buff, so I knew I would have him on the name alone). To finish it all off – a bottle of orange Fanta because it’s his favorite!
The fun part about this Father’s Day gift is that you really can stock it with whatever your guy loves. His favorite brew or soda, some fun trinket gifts, maybe a BBQ sauce he just can’t get enough of! Whatever it is you think up, he’s sure to love it!
