Traditionally Modern Kitchen Mood Board

March 4, 2013 By Sam 1 Comment

I love looking at gorgeous kitchen remodels. One of my favorite styles is a dark kitchen cabinet. I know that white is very in and traditional, but black adds a classy, polished feel to a kitchen. Our kitchen cabinets are dark and I love them. They are a great neutral item to start with when decorating. While brainstorming my kitchen decor, I wanted to make sure to keep a traditional feel while staying with the times and bringing in some fun, retro colors. My favorite kitchen color palette which brings all of these feelings together is aqua and red {with a little chrome thrown in}. This mood board is a perfect depiction of what I would love for my kitchen to be one day!

  • Today marks the second week of advent where we light the faith candle. As a family we’ve been lighting our own advent wreath each evening, and it’s been an incredible way to connect and center ourselves ... to remind us of what the season is all about! In this crazy time, what do you and your family do to refresh?
